3J&1T Reading Buddies!

We used the 'Kid Cam' to showcase 'Reading Buddies' from a student perspective.

One of the great things about 'Reading Buddies' is when the older grade students mentor the younger students with their strategies. We talk with the G3's to prompt G1's to use strategies such as: Look at the Picture for clues, Chunking sounds together and working on sight words. Grade 3's are big helps with the larger more complex words. We look forward to our buddy time each and every week!
