Daily 5 - Work on Writing

Today, our Daily 5 round had an extra buzz of excitement. Yesterday, Alexis and Morgan shared with me their 'Google Doc Presentation' the made from a round of 'Work on Writing'. As they shared it with me, I was able to make comments for the two of them to go back and revise/edit. They were excited to share with the whole class. After their presentation, more than half the class chose to 'Work on Writing' and do some research. It makes me happy to see so many children EXCITED to be writing and doing research to boot! We also added in a new choice item into our Daily 5 rounds. Students now have the option to choose 'Word Work'. It also looks like Mr. Balliston is quite content and comfortable at my desk while he worked on RAZ KIDS during 'Read to Self' time :)
