Pete the Cat - Color days

Since September is our Color theme, much of the literature I choose is based on that theme. Today was BLUE day. Of course, if you are familiar with the book you know Pete steps in strawberries, blueberries, mud & somehow miraculously at the end of the story he ends up with white & wet shoes! I do wonder who does his laundry!!!

The kids love this story because it has a great story pattern & the kids LOVE to sing along!!! I also love Pete's message about acceptance & flexibility because he says.."It's allllll good..."
