Word work - short vowels

Ever wonder what your child learns at school? Today we focused on short vowel /a/. We worked with this sound by first introducing how important vowels are. Tonight, trying spelling & sounding everyone in your families name by leaving out the vowels! For example: My name would be Mrs. Tylr. It doesn't sound or look right. Vowels have a big job!!!
